Styrofoam Recycling...

STYROFOAM (MOLDED POLYSTYRENE)
Molded Polystyrene (Styrofoam) is NOT accepted in any of Louisville Metro's Recycling Programs. This product is generally found as packing material for computers, appliances, fragile items, etc. (This does not include styrofoam packing peanuts) However, product that is clean, white and contained (bagged) may be taken to:

Would anyone be intrested in having a collection day to recycle this material. I have a collection pile in my house that I could not bring myseld to throw away. Maybe at events we could collect? What are your thoughts?

Hey, very possible!! heck, I could just scavenge it from the dumpsters in my alley and get a lot.
